FootballX Game: SmartSoft's Juggling Crash Game

FootballX in One Paragraph

FootballX is a crash game from SmartSoft Gaming, the Georgian studio best known for JetX. Instead of a plane, rocket or cricket ball flying off the screen, you get a footballer doing keepy-uppies. Every touch that keeps the ball in the air pushes the multiplier higher. The moment the ball hits the grass, the round is over, and any stake still riding on it is gone. Your only real decision is when to stop.

That sounds like every other crash title, and mathematically it mostly is. What makes FootballX worth a separate explanation is the presentation, a hard ceiling at 100x, and a control scheme that feels different in the hand from JetX or CricketX.

What You Actually See on Screen

Before a round, you pick one of five footballer characters. Review sites that have tested the game consistently describe this choice as cosmetic: the player you pick changes the animation, not the odds. A striker does not juggle "longer" than a goalkeeper. If a guide tells you otherwise, it is guessing.

Once the round starts, the footballer juggles and the multiplier counter climbs from 1.00x. There is no runway, no flight path, no stadium crowd building to a goal. The whole spectacle is one player and one ball, which makes the drop very easy to read: the ball either stays up or it does not.

The hold-and-release control

On many casino builds the main button works as a hold-to-play control. You press and hold to start juggling, and releasing your finger (or mouse button) cashes you out at the current multiplier. That is a real difference from games where you click once to start and click again to collect. In practice it means your cash-out is tied to a physical motion, and nervous players tend to let go earlier than they planned.

The ceiling: 100x

FootballX tops out at 100x. Every review source we checked agrees on that number, and the auto cash-out setting also stops at 100x. For comparison, SmartSoft's flagship JetX advertises far higher top multipliers. A low cap trims the extreme tail of outcomes. It does not make the game "safer" in any meaningful sense, because the house edge applies to every round regardless of where the cap sits.

How FootballX Compares to JetX and CricketX

SmartSoft has built a whole family of "X" crash games on a shared idea, then reskinned the theme and adjusted the rules. FootballX sits next to JetX (the original, from 2019) and CricketX (the cricket-themed sibling aimed heavily at South Asian audiences).

The single-stake panel matters more than it looks. In JetX many players run one small "safe" bet and one larger "long" bet at the same time. FootballX takes one bet per round, so every round is one decision with one exit.

The Bet Panel, Piece by Piece

The FootballX panel is compact. Here is what is on it, based on operator builds described by multiple reviewers:

  • Stake field with plus and minus buttons and a small preset menu for common amounts. Minimum and maximum stakes are set by the operator; figures published online range from 0.10 up to 100 or 500 in the account currency.
  • Play / Cash Out button, which on many builds is the hold-and-release control described above.
  • Autoplay with a fixed round count (10, 25, 50, 100 or 500 rounds), an auto cash-out multiplier from 1.10x to 100x, and stop conditions tied to a single win or to your balance moving up or down by a set amount.
  • Statistics tabs showing how many people are playing, your own bet history, and top wins by day, week and month.

None of these panels predict anything. The history tab tells you what happened, the top-wins tab shows the rare big results that make the game look generous, and neither changes the odds of the next drop.

RTP and Fairness: What Is Confirmed and What Is Not

Published RTP figures for FootballX do not agree. Several reviews list 96%, some list 97%, and one documents a range of roughly 95.2% to 97% depending on build. Sources also disagree on whether every version ships with a seed-based provably fair checker or relies on a certified RNG only.

The honest advice is boring: open the game's own rules or info screen at the casino you use. That screen shows the RTP of the build you are actually playing. A 96% figure means a theoretical 4% house edge; 97% means 3%. Either way, the expected result of playing long enough is a loss.

Common Misreadings of FootballX

"Long juggles are due after a run of early drops." No. Each round is generated independently. Five drops under 1.5x in a row do not make the sixth round more likely to reach 10x. This is the gambler's fallacy, and it is the single most expensive idea in crash gaming.

"Picking a certain footballer helps." The characters are skins. Treat them like choosing a shirt colour.

"The 100x cap means it is easier to hit 100x." A cap removes outcomes above 100x. It does not move probability toward 100x.

"Watching the juggling rhythm shows when the ball will drop." The animation follows the result; the result does not follow the animation.

Who Builds It, and Who Runs This Site

SmartSoft Gaming develops FootballX and licenses it to online casinos, which set stake limits and decide which build of the game they offer. FootballX Tracker is not one of those casinos and has no relationship with SmartSoft. We publish round statistics and guides so players can see the game clearly, including the parts that are not exciting.

If you want to understand the game before risking anything, the demo version and the rules screen will teach you more in ten minutes than any "system" will.
